How does Mega Saver manage backend processes for phone resale?

A:  We receive phones and sort them. We only select phones for resale that meet our functionality and cosmetic conditions. All phones we receive come from trusted, reputable sources. After we have selected top quality phones, we test them to ensure optimal functionality and sanitize them. After an order is placed, a final check is run on the phone, kitted with the appropriate accessories and shipped.

How does shipping work?

A:  We do not offer same day shipping. We test everything on the phone each time we receive one and we do not like to rush when it comes to caring for your future electronics. For us, it is extremely important that customers receive a fully working device rather than something that disappoints after you receive it. Currently, all orders are shipped within 24-36 business hours and you can be sure each item is handled with extra care.

What kind of condition should I expect the phone to be in when I receive it?

A:  We take pride in the condition ratings of devices we sell.

We rate our devices anywhere from Mint, Great, Good, and Fair conditions. In fact, we're very stringent when it comes to describing the actual condition of the device. Here's a rough rundown of what to expect when selecting a device condition:

  • Mint Like New
  • Great Minimal signs of use
  • Good Normal wear and tear
  • Fair Heavy Wear, scuffs / scratches

If the device you receive does not fulfill your expectations, let us know! We're always looking for better ways to ensure our customers are satisfied.

Are the phones tested?

A:  We test devices extensively before offering them for purchase. While we do test every device extensively, there may be some things we're unable to test accurately. (Think battery life, etc.) Some things are just unable to be tested, which is why we offer a 45-day warranty just in case any issues do arise.

Are SIM cards / activation kits included with each phone?

SIM Cards / Activation Kits are included for these carriers:

  • Straight Talk
  • Boost Mobile
  • Sprint
  • Page Plus
  • Net10 

Phones that include SIM Cards / Activation Kits come in a "ready to activate" state and include Customer Service from Mega Saver to assist in activation.

Carriers not listed above will require a separate purchase for this.
